MINETTO, NY – Minetto Elementary School recently held a Pajama Day.

The event was sponsored by the Student Council and benefited MacArthur Elementary School in Binghamton.
The school building and community were devastated by floods that occurred in September.
MacArthur School was destroyed and since then students and teachers have been housed in a much smaller school.
It could take three years to rebuild MacArthur.
Students at Minetto were asked to donate money or school supplies.
Collectively Minetto was able to raise $327.
The Student Council also collected boxes of books and other school supplies.
