FULTON – Fall brings a time for new opportunities to learn, grow and make some friends along the way. That’s why Lakeside Christian Ministries is launching two new community groups in Fulton.

The first group will gather to explore the messages in a letter written by Paul to Christians in Colossae, a bustling inland city of commerce during the early first century in what is Turkey today.

His letter contains just four chapters, but they are filled with the supremacy of Christ and practical ways for his followers to acknowledge and reflect his supremacy in their daily lives.

This group meets 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Mondays starting September 11 and will end by November 27.

The second group is less structured, providing open time for those who gather to bring up questions and search the Bible for answers.

This group meets 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Wednesdays starting September 13.

Both groups meet at the home of Pastor Chuck and Betsy Copps, 38 Bakeman St., Fulton.

The coffee will be on.

“We live in active of great uncertainty, with more voices and opinions coming at us than ever before,” said Pastor Chuck. “Let’s get together and talk about things. Let’s learn how to live above our circumstances. Let’s try to find some answers.”

For more information, contact Pastor Chuck at 315-806-9815 or email at pastorchuck38gmail.com.

Lakeside Christian Ministries is a Fulton based ministry organization that partners with local churches and other nonprofits to increase the impact of the local faith community on this area.

“We’re looking forward to becoming more visible and involved in helping those in need, especially through partnering with other ministries. We want to help others – and ourselves – live our lives and walk out our faith in ways that honor God’s truth and reflect God’s love and care for people,” Pastor Chuck said.
