OSWEGO – The students at Trinity Catholic School excel at the rigors of the classroom.

But, the school is teaching more than academics.
Last Spring, the students, under the direction of parent Kristen Kelly, began composting their waste from the cafeteria.
This waste was brought to the Oswego West Side Community Garden.
Kelly secured a plot in Trinity’s name at the garden and lined up volunteers to plant, weed and water throughout the summer.
As the fruits of the harvest are collected, they are brought to the Human Concerns, the local food pantry.
