PULASKI – The Salmon River International Sport Fishing Museum, located at 3044 State Route 13 near Pulaski, will hold its fourth annual “Celebrate Fishing Show and Sale” on Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
Museum tours will be conducted every 20 minutes.
Salmon River expert Nate Adams will present a seminar from 11 a.m. to noon.
Additional seminars will be held throughout the day on a variety of topics, including salmon and trout fishing, beginner’s class on learning the basics of fishing, fishing tips and tricks, bass fishing, and pan fishing.
Vendors and individuals will sell new, used and vintage fishing tackle.
A variety of games including casting challenges, scavenger hunts, and pond fishing will be held throughout the day, along with live music, refreshments, raffles and silent auctions to benefit the museum.
“Plan to come for the entire day so you won’t miss a thing,” said museum director Mike Riordan.
