The Hannibal Music Boosters will operate a dunk tank booth at the Hannibal Firemen’s Field Days beginning Thursday.
The organization has lined up several local celebrities and officials to volunteer to be dunked to help raise money for the school music program.
The tank will be open from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. each evening and from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
Thursday evening, the lineup includes band director Shirley Terrinoni, officers of the club and some former band members.
Friday night, Superintendent of Schools Mike DiFabio, school building principals and Board of Education President Matt Henderson have volunteered to be dunked for a good cause.
Saturday, Hannibal’s county legislator, Terry Wilbur, will take his turn in the dunking booth, along with some of Hannibal’s school bus drivers and community members.
