New York State Police Investigators Association Endorse Barclay

OSWEGO COUNTY – Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C,I,Ref-Pulaski) today announced that he has received the endorsement of the New York State Police Investigators Association for his re-election bid to the 120th Assembly District.

The New York State Police Investigators Association is comprised of 1,200 active members, representing professionals within the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of the New York State Police.

“Every day, New York State Police Investigators demonstrate an unwavering commitment to our citizens, communities and the goal of protecting the public from harm,” Barclay said. “Too many in Albany have supported an agenda that supports criminals, but undermines law-enforcement. I will continue to work with our police agencies to fight crime and ensure public safety remains a priority. I sincerely appreciate the confidence and support of the State Police Investigators Association.”

In its endorsement letter, the association’s Acting President Ronald R. Pierone wrote, “We are honored to endorse your candidacy for Assembly. Your demonstrated record of success in all aspects of your career reinforces our belief that you are the right candidate. The 120th District needs your recognized talents to support working families, strictly enforce the laws and address labor issues. The members of the New York State Police Investigators Association believe your experience, integrity and independence make you the clear choice.”

Leader Barclay represents the 120th Assembly District, which includes the Oswego County towns of Albion, Amboy, Boylston, Constantia, Granby, Hastings, Mexico, New Haven, Orwell, Palermo, Parish, Redfield, Richland, Sandy Creek, Schroeppel, Scriba, Volney, West Monroe and Williamstown; the cities of Oswego and Fulton; the Onondaga County town of Lysander; and the Jefferson County town of Ellisburg. In January, he was elected unanimously by his colleagues as the Leader of the Assembly Minority Conference.
