OSWEGO, NY – NRG Oswego Power has joined with the many individuals and businesses supporting the Oswego Salvation Army “I Believe” Capital Building Campaign.
According to Captain Kenneth Hayes of the Oswego Salvation Army, “We are very grateful to the people of NRG’s Oswego plant for their generosity. NRG provided a gift to help support client programming in the new Oswego Salvation Army building on West Second Street. Even more, NRG plant employees gave of their own time to help those less fortunate, which is the real test of how much they care.”

“NRG is privileged to assist this truly worthy local organization,” said Robert Marko, NRG Oswego plant manager. We believe that to be a true leader and industry innovator, we must first be a leader in our communities. “We are deeply committed to improving the quality of life in the communities we serve and the Oswego Salvation Army is a vital part of our community.”
The Oswego Salvation Army is part of the International Salvation Army organization, which is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church.
The local citadel provides food, education, services and spiritual support to the local community.
