Nursing Home Week Celebrated

OSWEGO, NY – Morningstar Residential Care Center kicked off its National Nursing Home Week celebration with a “Derby Day.”

Residents donned their best hats as they watched Morningstar employees participate in wooden horse races.

Each day of the week will feature a special activity for both the residents and employees to enjoy.

“It’s a fun filled week for our residents,” said Recreational Therapy Director Linda Taylor, LPN. “It’s great to see staff interacting with and having fun with our residents.”
