FULTON, NY – Seniors throughout Oswego County depend on Oswego County Opportunities’ meal service for their weekday meals.
Each day, Monday through Friday, OCO delivers more than 1,000 meals to homebound and congregate senior participants.

But what happens on the weekend?
How can seniors receive their meals on Saturdays and Sundays?
Thanks to the efforts of OCO Nutrition Services, participants can now purchase meals to cover Saturdays and Sundays.
“We are pleased to announce that we have recently begun delivering weekend meals to those who are interested in signing up for the program,” said Bridget Dolbear, program services coordinator with OCO Nutrition Services. “The meals will be delivered with the regular weekday meals and should be frozen or refrigerated until they are consumed.”
OCO’s Nutrition Services program serves every area of Oswego County, and according to Dolbear, the program is vital to the stability of many of its recipients.
Dolbear added that there is a $14 charge for participation in weekend meal program, which includes all four meals, and that food stamps will be accepted.
