OSWEGO – Members of the Oswego High School Interact Club made a special delivery this week to the Maternity Center at Oswego Hospital, continuing one of the club’s longest-standing and best-loved traditions.

Students donated dozens of hand-crafted, pint-sized blankets to the Maternity Center for distribution to families in the first few hours after a newborn’s arrival.
Hospital officials said the annual shipment of blankets “serves a great need and purpose.”
“All of the blankets that were donated last year found homes and the entire program speaks so highly to the character of our local young men and women,” said Kimberly Spurling, Oswego Health’s OGBYN director.
The Oswego High School Interact Club is sponsored by the Oswego Sunrise and Noon Rotary clubs and brings together young people to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of “Service Above Self.”
