OHS National Honor Society Reads Across District

MINETTO, NY – “Read Across America Day” was celebrated in Oswego schools on Friday as the birthday of Dr. Seuss was in the spotlight.

Oswego High National Honor Society members traveled across the district reading to elementary school age students.

Cassie Hondro, dressed as Alice in Wonderland, stopped to read to kindergarten students at the Minetto Elementary School.

Other students volunteer from NHS were Jessica Thompson and Maddie Muckey.

Joining Hondro was AmeriCorps representative Laura Taverni (The Cat in the Hat).
