OSWEGO, NY – On a recent frosty January morning, employees from Exelon and all four offices of Oswego County Federal Credit Union distributed hundreds of gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves in the second annual “Gloves with Love” program to collect new hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves for kids, said Bill Carhart, CEO.

Both Exelon and OCFCU collected these items from through November and December 2016, and distributed them by tying them to trees, benches, and lampposts, in public areas of Oswego, Mexico and Fulton.
“Our employees and Exelon got behind this project one hundred and ten percent,” said Mary Greeney, OCFCU vice president, member services. “And we all enjoyed sharing the wealth of items collected in our community for the second straight year. We wanted to come up an easy way for people to help make sure the kids of Oswego County will stay warm this winter.”

OCFCU was chartered in 1975 and serves residents and business owners of Oswego County.
OCFCU serves more than 11,000 members throughout the county.
