The event starts at 10 a.m.

The 5K will be timed by Auyer’s Race Timing and there will be a 1-Mile Family Walk.

There is still time to register for this event, which features not only the race and walk, but activities for kids, including races, games, face painting and a blow-up inflatable.

Suzi, the half-starved abandoned pit bull rescued by the Humane Society in January and now adopted to a new safe loving home will be there to meet her fans.

The New York State Police K-9 Unit will be there with service dogs.

The Oswego County 4H Dog Obedience Drill Team, the Bone Diggers, will perform their prize-winning routine. Also lunch will be provided: hot dogs, hamburgers and veggie burgers.

Registration for the timed race is $25, untimed race for runners 13 and over is $20, untimed race for kids 12 and under is $15.

Race shirts are included.

A family package for up to five untimed runners or walkers is $35.
