OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County Opportunities recently honored Robert Branshaw, owner of Wayne’s Drug Store, with the agency’s prestigious Howard Wilcox Volunteer of the Year Award.

Established in memory of a very special OCO volunteer, the Howard Wilcox Volunteer of the Year Award is presented annually to a volunteer that goes above and beyond in offering their time and talents to an OCO program.
“Robert (Bob) Branshaw has volunteered as OCO’s pharmacy director for more than 20 years,” said OCO Development Director Margaret Barclay. “Bob consistently makes himself available to OCO’s Health Services staff for medication related questions. He regularly shows care and concern for his fellow community members and, over the years has repeatedly assisted struggling families who have found themselves in need of medication without the resources to provide it for their ill family member. Bob has proven himself to be a great asset to OCO and our local community. Bob is well deserving of this recognition and I am pleased to announce that Bob Branshaw is the recipient of OCO’s 2016 Howard Wilcox Award.”
