Oswego County Proclaims Chiropractic Health Month

OSWEGO – Oswego County Legislature Chairman Kevin Gardner, District 13 presented a proclamation designating the month of October as National Chiropractic Health Month in Oswego County.

Chiropractic care covers disorders of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems and their effects on general health.

These physician-level providers focus on the whole person in a drug-free approach to healthcare and pain management.

Today, more research validates the effectiveness of this care in treating chronic pain in an effort to stem the growing epidemic of overuse and abuse of prescription pain medications.
