Oswego County Proclaims March American Red Cross Month

OSWEGO, NY – Oswego County Legislature Chairman Fred C. Beardsley recently presented a proclamation designating the month of March as American Red Cross Month in Oswego County.
The Red Cross spreads humanitarian aid and goodwill to people around the world.
The local chapter responds to natural or human-caused disasters such as ice or wind storms and house or apartment fires; provides health and safety training; and connects military families with their loved ones in service.
On hand to receive the proclamation was Danielle Hayden, branch director of the Onondaga-Oswego Chapter of the American Red Cross.
