Oswego County Recognizes Port City Fire Conference

OSWEGO  – The Oswego County Legislature’s Public Safety Committee presented a proclamation to the City of Oswego Fire Department in recognition of the second Port City Fire Conference. The conference establishes a regional forum dedicated to advancing the professional development, safety and well-being of firefighters. It places a strong emphasis on supportive training, education and resources that equip firefighters and emergency personnel with the skills, tools and knowledge necessary to meet the evolving demands of public safety service. The conference takes place on Saturday and Sunday, March 14 and 15 at SUNY Oswego’s Hewitt Hall.
