National Child Passenger Safety Day is September 21.

To celebrate, Oswego County Traffic Safety Board will be partnering with Lowes, Route 104, Oswego, for a Safety Seat Check from 10 a.m. – noon.
Trained and nationally certified child passenger technicians will be on hand to help you install your child’s car seat in your vehicle for the safest ride possible.
Recall information, lower anchors and tethers (LATCH), and tips for the best seat for your child’s age and weight will be taught on site at Lowes.

Other family events will be on-going throughout the day.
The event is free and open to the public.
No appointment is necessary to have your car seat checked.
Safety Seat Checks are sponsored by a grant from the Governor’s Traffic Safety Committee.
For more information on traffic safety events or to request a presentation, call Billie Crandall Brady at (315) 343-2344 ext 22.
