The Oswego Public Library welcomes its new librarian, Edward Elsner to its staff. Elsner received his MSLS from the University of Kentucky and a BSME from Kettering University of Flint, Michigan. Elsner has over 10 years of library experience from Michigan and Kentucky which includes the automation of 6 libraries.

He developed a unique library classification system for WATCH (Women Acting Together for Change) while on a working holiday in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has published several articles in professional journals regarding library services.
Elsner comes to Oswego with his wife Zuni and their two children ages 7 and 1. He looks forward to living in Oswego and becoming an active participant of the community.
