Oswego Public Library Plans Book Drive to Stock Oswego County Little Libraries

by Contributor | July 24, 2017 6:51 am

OSWEGO – From July 31 to August 11, the Oswego Public Library will be collecting books to put in the Little Libraries in the Oswego County area.

The Little Library Houses are small, house-shaped boxes that can be found in most public parks in Oswego County.

The public can take, read and share books as they wish.

In order to make sure that the Little Libraries are kept well-stocked, AmeriCorps members Josiah Dahar and David Tallents will be directing a book drive.

Anyone who would like to donate a new or gently used book can bring it into the Oswego Public Library during regular library hours.

There will be marked donation boxes on both the main and upper levels of the library.

For any questions about the book drive, please call the Oswego Public Library at 315-341-5867 and ask for Dahar or Tallents in the children’s section.
