Oswego Public Library To Present Zoom Concert

OSWEGO – Oswego Public Library is presenting Sean Gaskell on the kora as a Zoom concert on June 17 at 6 p.m.
 The date is between the 163rd anniversary of our opening on June 14 and Juneteenth (June 19) celebrating the announcement of slavery’s abolishment reaching Texas!
Join Sean’s online https://us02web.zoom.us/j/3955276146[1] performance and educational demonstration on the kora, an ancient 21-stringed harp from West Africa.  He will feature traditional songs that are the heart and soul of the kora’s musical repertoire in addition to some of his own personal compositions.
