Oswego Rotarians Host ‘Rigoletto’

OSWEGO, NY – The Oswego Rotary recently hosted the lead singers of Oswego Opera Theater’s upcoming production of Verdi’s “Rigoletto.”

“Rigoletto – The Oswego Story,” as created by Mack Richardson, is updated from the original setting in 16th century Mantua, Italy, to Oswego in the 1920s Prohibition Era.

The action takes place in various locales downtown and at the Inn on the Lake.

Richardson is an adjunct instructor at SUNY teaching music literature and music business classes.

The production will be at Waterman Theatre on the SUNY Oswego campus on February 21 at 7:30 p.m. and February 23 at 2 p.m.

Tickets are $25, $20 and $5 for all students.
