Oswego Rotary Welcomes New President

OSWEGO – Oswego Rotary welcomed a new president at the Changing of the Guard ceremony on June 27.

Carrie Penoyer, a lifelong resident of Oswego County, assumed the position for the 2017-18 Rotary fiscal year.

She grew up in Pulaski and attended Sandy Creek schools.

Penoyer earned a Bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University in Broadcast Journalism.

After college she became a television reporter at WWNY-TV in Watertown.

Seven years later and a career change, Penoyer is now a financial advisor with AXA Advisors.

Penoyer has been an advisor for 13 years.

She lives in Oswego with her husband and two children.

Congratulations and best wishes for a great Rotary year.

And, thanks to immediate past president Danielle Hayden for a job well done.
