Oswego Sunrise Rotary Helps Fight Fort’s Weeds

OSWEGO – The Oswego Sunrise Rotary club recently welcomed Oswego AmeriCorps member Norman Berlin III.

He is working on a project to preserve the stone walls of the Fort Ontario State Historic Site.

The plan involves using non-toxic sprays to eliminate weeds and grass that are damaging the fort’s walls.

Club president James Cloonan presented a donation on behalf of the Sunrise Rotary Club to Berlin to assist in his efforts.
