Student council members from each elementary school and the middle school planted pinwheel gardens on school grounds to raise awareness of the growing problem of child abuse in Oswego County.

Additionally, some of the student council organizations sold paper pinwheels to raise money for the Child Advocacy Center of Oswego County.

The CAC, a non-profit organization, works hand-in-hand with local law enforcement, prosecution, child protective services, medical providers, therapists and victim advocacy professionals to protect and serve children who are victims of abuse.

In 2015, the CAC served over 450 children and families in Oswego County.

If you would like to make a donation or would like more information about the CAC, please call 592-4453 or visit www.oswegocac.org
