OSWEGO – Local residents with items from spring cleaning they want to get rid of while supporting a community cause are invited to donate them to Port City Roller Derby for the non-profit organization’s Let’s Get Ready to Rummage Sale on April 27.
The sale will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Cove, the organization’s facility at Oswego’s Midtown Plaza.

Expected items for sale will include toys, housewares, books, video games, furniture, CDs, sporting goods, baby items and more.
Anyone interested in donating can email [email protected] to set up a pickup or dropoff time. Items must be clean and in good shape.
The fundraiser will support the logistics and operations for the league’s upcoming third season, with its home opener against Roc City Derby’s B-Sides on May 25.
This year’s bouts will include competitive opportunities for the Port City Roller Derby Juniors, a new league for younger skaters ages 10 to 17.
Port City Roller Derby is produced by Oz Roller Girls Inc., a member-run non-profit organization dedicated to athletic competition, empowerment and supporting its community.
PCRD always seeks skaters, refs and other volunteers, and will provide training.
