PHOENIX, NY – The Head Start preschool children at the Discovery Day Care got a lesson in ice fishing from two dads: Jack Hackett and Tom Mills.
They showed the children the equipment that is used and how to catch the fish.

The dads also discussed what type of clothing they wear when they go out on the ice along with the safety precautions.
Discovery Day Care is a program of Oswego County Education Services.
