Twenty-six students at Fairgrieve Elementary were recently honored with the school’s coveted Principal’s Award medals for outstanding commitment to academics and being good citizens.

Principal Jean Sampsell shared her gratitude for the students’ leadership, perseverance and shining qualities that help create a great educational and social experience for all.
Each awardee, she said, has also exhibited the school’s expectations of being safe, responsible, a problem-solver and respectful throughout the second quarter of the 2016-2017 school year.
For their efforts, students also received recognition, praise and applause from classmates, teachers and guests during a Morning Express program.
