OSWEGO, NY – Members of the Four Season Quilt group have been busy making quilts for area organizations, which includes The Manor at Seneca Hill, where the donation remembered a former resident and quilter.

For about the past year, the Scriba-based group has been making quilts using materials once owned by Arthur Hillis, a former resident of The Manor, who liked to quilt with his sisters.
His daughter, Debbie West, of Oswego, donated tubs of fabrics to the quilt group, which in turn made two bed size and two lap size quilts that were donated to The Manor.
Seated from left are Shirley Frake, president of The Manor’s Resident Council and resident Lulabell Green.
Standing are Susan Bartlett, President of the Four Season Quilters, Dianne Morrisette, The Manor’s social services director and Debbie West.
