OSWEGO COUNTY – Looking for festive, fun activities for your children to do over the holiday break? Camp Hollis offers a “Fun Day” on Monday, Dec. 23 and an “Overnight Bivouac” from Dec. 23-24. The Dec. 23 daytime event is open to youth aged 6-12, while the overnight bivouac is offered to those aged 8-12.
Holiday fun planned for campers includes being divided into teams and racing through festive activities, making creative ornaments to place on the Camp Hollis Christmas tree, enjoying hot cocoa, watching “The Polar Express” and more!
Parents and guardians have the option of enrolling their children in one event or both. The schedule is as follows:
The cost for doing the Dec. 23 Fun Day is $20; the overnight Bivouac is $40; and to do both is $60. Children doing both events will be at Camp Hollis from Monday, Dec. 23 at 8 a.m. to Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 9 a.m.
Lunch and dinner will be provided on Dec. 23, and breakfast will be served Dec. 24. Children are asked to pack winter outside attire, and those doing the overnight bivouac should bring a sleeping bag, pillow, toothbrush, toothpaste, a change of clothes and boots.
