FULTON, NY – For the past four years Renee Earl has had a positive impact on the youth that she serves.
As a staff member at Oswego County Opportunities’ Horizon House, a foster care group home for youth ages 13-17, Earl has worked with youth to teach them the skills they will need to live on their own, graduate from high school, and successfully transition into adulthood.
Earl was recognized as the Crisis and Development staff member of the month for her care and concern for the youth that she serves.
“Over the past holiday season, Renee above and beyond her responsibilities to ensure that youth at the Horizon House received gifts at Christmas time,” explained Eric Bresee, director of OCO’s Crisis and Development Services. “Her efforts were not overlooked by her fellow staff members as they nominated her for Crisis and Development Staff Member of the Month. With the skilled, dedicated staff that we have at Horizon House as well as our other programs, it is never easy to choose just one staff member. I was honored to recognize Renee as the December recipient of our Crisis and Development Staff Member of the Month.”
