by Contributor | August 31, 2009 9:17 pm

At a recent Sunrise Rotary Meeting, Rotarian Dan Farfaglia told the club about Deaf Awareness Week, which is the last week in September and how some movie theaters are playing a part in helping those that are hearing impaired to enjoy the movie. Our local drive-in theater shows movies during that week which are open-captioned. Also the Regal Theater Group at Carousel and Great Northern malls participates with an extensive schedule of open-captioned movies. Anyone interested can check the schedule at http://www.regmovies.com/nowshowing/opencaptionedshowtimes.aspx#NY. Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.
