Rotarians Hear About DPW

At a recent Sunrise Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Carol Vescio introduced Dan O'Brien, Fulton Commissioner of Public Works. The Mayor has proclaimed the week of May 16 - 22 as National Public Works Awareness Week and Dan spoke about the responsibilities of that department which includes, roads, sewer, water, sidewalks and garbage. Dan also pointed out that the City staff do many things at great savings that were once contracted out. The Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.
