Rotarians Hear About Head Start

FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Patrick Waite introduced Erin Donahue, family/community engagement manager, Oswego County Opportunities.

She spoke about Head Start which is a school readiness program for children ages 3 and 4 that focuses on social and cognitive development of pre-school children.

Head Start is run by OCO and is a no cost service available to families with incomes at or below federally set income guidelines.

There are seven Head Start locations in Oswego County that serve children from all nine school districts.
