Rotarians Hear About Health Issues

FULTON, NY – At a recent Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Linda Eagan introduced Jiancheng Huang, Public Health Service Director for Oswego County.
He presented a program about some of the health challenges facing Oswego County.
He reported that Oswego County ranked at the bottom of the 62 counties in New York State regarding self-behaviors.
The top three challenges in our county are smoking, obesity and mental health issues.
He has been working with many organizations to promote and create awareness and education dealing with these issues.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
