FULTON – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Linda Eagan introduced Fred St.Onge from the Granby – Lake Neatahwanta Reclamation Committee.

He spoke about the efforts of the Granby – Lake Neatahwanta Reclamation Committee to improve the water quality of the lake.
The Granby-based committee works in combination with the Fulton-based Lake Neatahwanta Revitalization Corporation.
Granby’s focus is the east and north sides of the lake and Fulton concentrates on the east and south sides.
This is a 10-year project and all the labor is done by volunteers.
They have received state funding from Senator Patty Ritchie’s office who is very supportive of their efforts to improve the quality of the lake and bring it back to a recreational attraction.
The Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 a.m.at Mimi’s.
