FULTON, NY – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meeting, Rotarian Diane Cooper-Currier, executive director of OCO, presented a powerpoint program and spoke of Poverty and Assets in our area.

From 2000 to 2010, poverty has increased by fifteen percent and will continue to increase.
Poverty is a disaster and will continue to be so until the system allows people to build
assets.
Assets build hope and aspirations for the future.

The Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club meets every Friday at 7 a.m. at Fulton’s Riverside Inn.
