Shambo spoke about the company she founded in 2014.

She has been making handcrafted soap and cleaning products for family and friends for three years.

She left a job with Oswego County to focus on building Ontario Soap Company and hasn’t looked back.

Business is booming, Shambo said.

She was a runner-up in last fall’s Next Great Idea competition, is a vendor at the Oswego Farmers’ Market, is developing a website and markets her products on Facebook.
