Rotarian Carol Vescio, left, presented the Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 7150, Joette Deane, who gave an overview of the Rotary water projects to promote clean water and prevent child mortality in underdeveloped countries. Around the world, 6,000 children die a day from drinking contaminated water. Deane stressed one way to help is the purchase of a simple filter, pictured, that has been very successful in saving lives. The Fulton Sunrise Rotary meets every Friday at 7 AM at Fulton's Riverside Inn.
