FULTON, NY – At a recent Fulton Sunrise Rotary meeting, Rotarian Lennie LaBoda talked about her involvement in the Women for Women International program.
It works with women survivors of war in conflict and post-conflict areas around the world.

The program encompasses a year-long curriculum concentrated on teaching women their economic, social and civic rights.
They receive training on health awareness, decision-making, negotiation and civic participation.
The program cost $30 a year.
Lennie has participated in this organization for several years.
She read a few letters from her “Sisters” that she received over the years, which were very heartfelt and moving.
