Sandy Creek High School is the Oswego County Academic Youth League overall 2013-2014 champion.
The last time the school was awarded this distinction was in the 1997-98 school year.

Sandy Creek placed in three of this year’s competitions, nabbing one gold, one silver and one bronze medal.
The trophy presentation took place following the competition on April 24.
The team received a large traveling trophy which will be displayed in the SCCSD district for the coming season.
OCAY League is coordinated through Oswego County BOCES Instructional Support Services as part of the Gifted and Talented Programs cooperative services.
Four competitions are held throughout the school year that challenge students’ academic skills and encourage leadership, creativity and cooperative problem solving.
