Stop throwing your money down the drain or out an electrical outlet. The Save Energy, Save Dollars workshop will teach low-cost and no-cost ways to save energy and reduce energy bills.
Cornell Cooperative Extension in Oswego County is leading this energy-savings workshop, which is sponsored by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority and developed by Cornell Cooperative Extension and NYSERDA.
Program participants receive a kit of energy-saving items to take home and put to use immediately.
The Save Energy, Save Dollars workshop is free and open to the public.
Pre-registration is required to ensure there are enough energy-saving kits for everyone.
Please call (315) 963-7286 to register for the workshop. Save Energy, Save Dollars will be offered at the following locations:
– May 8, from 1 – 3 p.m.at the Salvation Army, 73 W Second St., Oswego
– May 18, from 10 a.m. – noon at the North Country Christian Church, 49 Salisbury St., Lacona
