School Board Recognizes Retiree

OSWEGO, NY – At the recent Oswego School Board meeting, the board congratulated Nancy McKiernan on her retirement.
McKiernan had served the students and staff of the school district for the period January 17, 1983, to the present and “has been a most responsible, conscientious, and dedicated staff member in service to the school district.”
“Resolved, that the members of the Board of Education of the Oswego City School District hereby acknowledge the faithful service of Ms. McKiernan upon accepting her resignation for the purpose of retirement from the position of Cook effective October 31, 2015, and we express our grateful appreciation to her.”
Presenting her with a certificate of appreciation are Superintendent Ben Halsey and board president Kathleen Allen.
