OSWEGO, NY – Come to Oswego’s Historic Maritime District to see antique and modern fire and emergency equipment up close. On September 28 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., dozens of vehicles from across New York State, as well as Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts will be displayed along West First Street, from the Oswego Railroad Museum to the H. Lee White Museum and Maritime Center.

“The oldest vehicle coming will be an 1841 truck from Sackets Harbor,” Izzy Vosseller of the Railroad Museum said. “Older equipment includes a circa 1800 Wirt and Knox hose reel from Carthage, NY.”
Family activities also include the Oswego County Fire Safety Trailer, a flea market, food, music, bounce houses (fee charged) and viewing of antique cars from the Hannibal Country Cruizers.
In addition, the Railroad Museum will be featuring hundreds of die cast and model fire trucks, fire department history and memorabilia and movies. Admission is only $2/adult, $1/youth.

The H. Lee White Marine Museum will be open at a reduced admission fee of $3/adult, free/youth.
No fee for most outdoor activities. Parking will be available on the West First Street Pier as well as on the corner of Lake Street, by the Coast Guard Station.
This event is in cooperation with Thousand Islands Hose Haulers and the city of Oswego.
