Second Graders Wrapped Up In Reading

OSWEGO, NY – Students in second grade at the Charles E. Riley Elementary School have been celebrating “Reading Wrap.”

They have read 1,210 books since Oct. 3.

The program encourages the youngsters to wrap their hands around a good book.

Teacher Barbara Kline proudly poses with second graders Jesse Hill and Madison Kalt as they show the huge wrap around creation that represents each book read by the students.
