Senator Reads Dr. Seuss To Parish Elementary School Students

PARISH, NY – State Senator Patty Ritchie is shown reading “The Lorax” by Dr. Seuss to a group of 4th graders at Parish Elementary School today as the school celebrated the children’s author’s 109th birthday and “Read Across America Day.”
“The best way to help children prepare for the 21st century is to help instill in them a genuine love of reading,” Senator Ritchie said.
