Senator Ritchie Meets With Acting Ag Commissioner

State Senator Patty Ritchie, Chair of the Senate’s Agriculture Committee, today met with Acting Agriculture Commissioner Darrel Aubertine at the Senator’s office in Albany.
The two discussed the $3.5 million in additional state budget funding for agriculture that Senator Ritchie helped restore, the critical role that agriculture will play in rebuilding Upstate New York’s economy, and the Acting Commissioner’s upcoming confirmation by the State Senate.
Senator Ritchie and Acting Commissioner Aubertine pledged to work together to strengthen the farm economy and help find solutions to challenges the industry faces.
