FULTON – The Oswego County Suicide Prevention Coalition joins forces with mental health organizations across the country to raise awareness about National Suicide Prevention Month this September. Join them in “Strike Out Stigma,” a free bowling event which runs from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28 at Lakeview Lanes, 723 W. Broadway, Fulton.
As with other events the Coalition has hosted this month, this is an opportunity to promote togetherness within the community. “Strike Out Stigma” is a fun event that gives individuals and families a chance to enjoy a free night out with their neighbors and friends.
Thanks to sponsorship from Lakeview Lanes, bowling and shoe rentals are provided free of charge. Bowling teams should be between three and six people. Food is available for purchase.
Click on “Strike Out Stigma[1]” for the link to register your team. The deadline has been extended to Friday, Sept. 27.
The mission of the Oswego County Suicide Prevention Coalition is to collaborate with local community members to promote suicide prevention resources, raise awareness, provide support and lower suicide rates in Oswego County.
