Sideris Piano Studio Presents The Best of Beethoven

OSWEGO – Piano students of Marcia Pavel Sideris will present their annual studio recital on June 10 at The Church of the Resurrection, 120 W. Fifth St.

Students of all ages and levels will be performing.

The 3 p.m. program, titled The Best of Beethoven, will consist of two sections.

The first will feature each student performing memorized selections from the vast repertoire of some of Beethoven’s greatest compositions.

Beethoven revolutionized the symphony and redefined piano sonatas.

Almost 250 years since his birth, his music remains popular still.

Section two will consist of each student performing memorized compositions in a variety of styles: jazz, classic, rock, and contemporary.

The program is free and open to the public.
