Sixth graders and their parents/guardians in the Sandy Creek School District had an opportunity to meet their teachers, tour the middle school/high school building and familiarize themselves with their classrooms.

Principal Carolyn Shirley, along with sixth grade teachers spoke to parents along with their students in the auditorium before dismissing them to visit their homeroom classrooms.
In their classrooms, teachers met the students and parents and talked about some of the expectations for the coming school year.
They also answered questions to alleviate any fears the students had about the transition to the middle school.
Sandy Creek’s middle school consists of students in grades 6-8.
Anyone with questions regarding the middle school should contact the principal at 387-3445.
